Who are we?

Hello everyone!

We are students of medical-related fields affiliated with the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations IFMSA-Poland, which is part of the largest student organization in the world.

Our main goal is to educate the public about diseases and health maintenance, assist people in difficult life situations and groups at risk of social exclusion, promote the ideas of humanitarianism and medical ethics, as well as enhance the qualifications of medical students in the field of public health. We also support the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge in Poland and abroad by organizing clinical internships and academic exchanges worldwide!

Warsaw Local Committee

The Warsaw Local Committee of IFMSA-Poland is one of the 19 committees operating within IFMSA-Poland, and its members belong to the Medical University of Warsaw and Lazarski University. We are a cohesive team that includes the Local Committee Management, Local Project Coordinators and Volunteers, which allows us to educate, create and grow. Our committee is made up of individuals from all medical fields, such as medicine, nursing, midwifery, emergency medical services, medical analytics, dietetics, public health and audiophonology! Owing to the wide range of activities within our organization, everyone will find something for themselves and every single one member is a vital part of our organization.

So what exactly do we do?

IFMSA-Poland has six standing programs! Each of them has its own projects, which you can read about below:

Why should you join IFMSA-Poland?

IFMSA-Poland offers the opportunity for self-realization through national and international meetings and workshops. Moreover, it enables participation in clinical internships in hospital departments and academic exchanges, where you can take part in a research project, and all of this possible anywhere in the world, across all 5 continents! Every year, over 500 students from Poland go abroad and one of them could be you!
