The first ever second-hand clothing swap organized for the Zero Waste Project
Clothing collection began on Monday, 8th of May and finished on the last day of the market.
The swapping duration:
Wed-Fri (10-12th of May) 12:00-18:00
The participants brought items of clothing and accessories that they no longer use. For each item they brought, they got a swap token with which they "bought" any item we had available. Our volunteers helped with sorting out clothes and managing the tokens (i.e. our "currency")
Rules: We asked that the items brought are clean, in good condition and not damaged.
Most items that did not find a new home by Friday the 12th were donated to “Ubrania do Oddania” - a brand whose goal is to introduce circularity into the clothing market in Poland. Some amout of the items were left in storage in the IFMSA office for the next edition of the Second-Hand Market.
