DEAR ED STUDENTS, IFMSA NEEDS YOU! We re looking for educators for SCORA project Peer Education HIV/AIDS. Many people do not realise the threat of HIV. They think it doesn't affect them and believe their knowledge is sufficient. Unfortunately, reality is just the opposite. Let s change it! Education can help prevent new infections by providing people with information about HIV/AIDS and how it is passed on. It is important that they are educated about HIV transmission before they are exposed to situations that put them at risk of infection. To achieve this we organise lessons in high schools and teach not only about HIV/AIDS but also about safe sex and STDs. That is why we would like to invite you to educators training - for students who wants to participate in the projects and visit schools in Warsaw to give lessons. During workshops you will learn what to say and how to say it to be interesting. The workshops will be held on 15.11.2010 at 17.30 in room 233 in Didactic Centre ul. Trojdena 2a. Once again, 17.30! They will be carried out IN ENGLISH by Iwona Wawer from National AIDS Centre Running such lessons is a great fun and an opportunity to get some experience, meet wonderful people and of course to get valuable points for IFMSA Professional Exchange :) Hope to see you there!
